A holding company over the practices that deliver the care
US Dental Surgery Network is the parent of professional LLCs licensed in each state we operate in — a management company, an office anesthesia company, and a DEA-registered medication distributor.
Who we are
Dr. Jeffrey Carter founded OMS Logistics in 2017 to solve a problem dental groups could not solve alone: oral surgery is the hardest specialty to bring into a general dental office, and almost none of the difficulty is clinical. It is licensure, permits, controlled substances, equipment and staffing. Those professional organisations now sit under US Dental Surgery Network, with a professional LLC in Tennessee, Ohio, Kentucky and Massachusetts, supporting 52 active clinic locations. Our management team has over 70 years of combined experience in specialty dental care, ambulatory anesthesia, health care compliance and the surgical operations of multi-location facilities.
How the network is structured
US Dental Surgery Network is the parent. Beneath it sits a state-specific professional LLC that contracts with the dental group to establish the business relationship, and holds the licenses and permits in that state.

Leadership
Dr. Jeffrey B Carter, MD, DMD
President and Founder
Dr. Carter is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon practising in Nashville. His professional accomplishments include:
- OMS Residency Program Director, Carle Clinic, Urbana IL
- Founder of Oral Surgical Institute, Nashville, TN
- Director of the Oral Surgical Institute OMS Fellowship Training Program
- Founder and Medical Director of Specialty Surgery Center, Nashville, TN
- Founder of OMS Logistics and the OMSL Surgical Internship
- Recognised subject-matter expert in ambulatory surgery centers and electronic health records
He holds an engineering degree from Tufts University, a DMD from UCONN School of Dental Medicine and an MD from Vanderbilt University. He started OMS Logistics in 2017 and has grown the professional-corporation network into the states now under US Dental Surgery Network.
